Hello...long time no type..

I did mean to write a post over the weekend cos I went to Singapore for my visa run! Yaaaay..no 16 and a half hours on the bloomin bus..used my points from the Hilton and had a great time. I'd always regretted not having gone there when I was in Hong Kong so it was great to get there even just for the short time I did.

I stayed on Orchard Road which was described to me as a bit like Nathan Road in HK..there were soooo many shops..all the main ones from europe, all the designers and the gold old favourites from HK too. But I didn't actually do any shopping..had a look and tried on a skirt in Top Shop that I never though I'd fit into in a million years. I didn't buy it but the fact I've gone down to that size is wicked.

When I got back from Singapore I went into Kata on the 2nd night back and was looking for a house warming pressie for Brett with Sam. I ended up going into a clothes shop for one thing and the guy in there was very good..I pushed the mental boat out and tried on a dress, he got the idea for the sort of things I like and starting suggesting things...so I came out with 2 dresses, a matching tank top and skirt and another two skirts and the two bits I originally went in for. All for 2800 Baht which is roughly 45 quid. Not bad in general but even better considering on of the skirts is Thai Silk (apparently!) with gold elephants on it.
Ahhhhh...I've done it again..run out of time..ah well..the social butterfly must go flit. One thing I did want to add...I realised in that shop I have become my mother...I'm reminded of many a time down stanley while mum went into a shop because of a top and came out with 3 suits or more! Love you Mum :-)

Will try to write again but with only 5 days left I'm making the most of it all.
